Associate Consultant - Procurement and Supply chain

The candidate should have prior experience in supply chain management or procurement and should have sound knowledge or manufacturing processes.

Job Responsibilities

- Assess and interpret purchasing department specifications and technical specification for the product and define requirements for supplier identification - Analyze ERP data for price and volume and conduct spend analysis - Identify potential suppliers in Asia Pacific region - Understand and communicate all technical requirements to potential in order to qualify the product - Validate that supplier’s quality management system meets ISO 9001:2015 standards - Verify that the product meets all technical and manufacturing test requirements - Coordinate with logistic partners to deliver samples for initial inspection - Coordinate with quality engineers for initial sample inspection and approval process - Follow production part approval process defined by the client and conduct in person audits before approving product - Coordinate with client’s supply chain department to plan just in time deliveries after product has been approved and ordered

Knowledge/Skills Required

- B.E. or B.Tech Mechanical/Electrical Engineering required, MBA in supply chain or operations management preferred. - 0 to 2 years experience in procurement or supply chain preferred. - Experience in project management and execution is a plus - Demonstrated aptitude in procurement analytics including spend analysis, supplier risk and performance assessment - Experience in working with MS office and ERP systems and quality management system - Strong analytical skills required (Excel, Access, Sql etc.) -Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
